In a preschool room, that looks like blocks on a low shelf, a quiet corner with books, and a table set for small-group work. Teachers kneel to a child's eye level and follow the interest in front of them. The Creative Curriculum gives teachers a plan, and they adjust it as children grow.

Sunny Tree House is licensed by the PA Department of Education. We are enrolled in Keystone STARS, a program that sets requirements for early childhood educators to promote the best and safest learning environment for your child. Our kitchen is state licensed and inspected, and meets Pennsylvania codes and standards. Ask us for details on any of these.

Teachers get down to a child's eye level and listen first. They notice what a child is working on and offer a next step, not a correction. Small groups let a teacher sit with a few children at a time, so each one gets a turn to talk, build, and try again.

Rooms have clear areas: a block corner, a book nook, a table for art or writing, a place to gather. The day alternates active and quiet stretches, with meals and rest in between. Teachers watch for the moment attention drifts, then shift the pace rather than push through.
